Carmel High School Tennis Courts

Last fall I visited these courts and was dismayed at the poor condition of the playing surfaces and fencing. The $20M rebuilding project is fantastic. While practicing on 08/23 I was able chat with a fellow who had worked on the tennis center and I learned about the technology under the courts. I wish the city of Carmel would construct an elaborate tennis/pickleball center to serve the community. A lighted racquet sports facility not tied to the schools to enhance fitness for those folks who don't belong to costly clubs would be another reason to draw companies and people to Carmel. The SW corner of Grey Road and 116th looks inviting.

New and clean court. Seating available for several courts. Need to bring your chairs to watch the play at backside courts

Not open to public though I’m sure they’re nice. Locked up as of this week (Thursday, July 31, 2025) even though school not in session. Lame!

Very convenient, since it is equidistant for my partner and I. The courts are very plentiful and in good shape. You do have to watch for the over eager school parking enforcer, that leaves tickets on your vehicle while you are using the tennis center.
